This pie turned out very well and tasted good. however, i think the ‘no sugar’ in the title is a bit misleading. this pie has plenty of sugar in it from the fruit and the juice. i was rather taken aback when i saw the calorie content, which is more than a regular apple pie. it was very easy, though, and turned out well.. Also, i used very vanilla silk soymilk instead of plain milk – it enhanced the vanilla flavor – extra yummy! ps the best sugar cookie recipe on the site is "grandma minnie’s old fashioned sugar cookies" by jessica mcdonald – these 2 recipes are a match made in baking heaven! my family and i thank you kathy & jessica!. 11/28/2001. the cake was really good, but it was a liitle more difficult than i had intended. the cake didn’t come off of the parchment paper very easier. we like to dust it with confectioners sugar to make it look like snow, but don’t do that until you’re ready to present/serve it as it will get a bit clumpy and not as attractive. kathy.
